Actor and television personality Siddharth Shukla passes away after suffering a massive heart attack on Thursday. Siddharth was only 40 years old. According to various sources, he was brought to the hospital at 11 am. However, he could not be saved.
The authorities at Cooper Hospital have given the initial information. A senior official at the Cooper hospital tells PTI, “He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago.” Another senior official from the hospital’s forensic department says, “Initial report indicates that he died of a heart attack. We, however, won’t be able to confirm the cause of his death until we complete the postmortem.”
Over his acting career, Siddharth has established an irreplaceable position in the TV industry. He made his debut in 2008 with the Hindi TV show ‘Babul ka Aangannn Chootey Na’. Post it, he appeared in various shows such as Aahat, CID and Love U Zindagi, to name a few.
The most significant role Siddharth has played in a daily soap is the lead actor in ‘Balika Vadhu’. It was probably a turning point in his career, since ‘Balika Vadhu’ had been immensely successful. With over 2000 episodes, the show was one of the longest-running Hindi TV serials.
Siddharth Shukla has made appearances in many reality shows like India’s Got Talent, Jhalak Dikhhhla Jaa Season 6, Bigg Boss 13, Khatron Ke Khiladi 7 and Bigg Boss 14. Most importantly, Siddharth emerged as the winner of two reality shows, Bigg Boss 13 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 7.
Siddharth not only established a foothold in the realm of Hindi TV shows, but he also starred alongside Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the film, ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.

Presently, Siddharth was doing various music videos, often with his rumoured girlfriend and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Shehnaaz Gill. Siddharth’s family includes his mother and two sisters. He had also posted a picture of him with his niece on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.
His demise came as a shock to the showbiz industry.
The runner-up of Bigg Boss 13, Asim Riaz Instagrammed a picture of Siddharth and him sitting together inside the Bigg Boss’ house. He writes with a broken heart, ‘ I’m gonna meet you in heaven brother…

Shehnaaz Gill Left Shoot Midway After Hearing News About Siddharth Shukla
A media report says that Siddharth’s close friend Shehnaaz Gill has left an ongoing shoot midway. Shehnaaz’s father Santokh Singh Sukh says, “I am not in the condition to talk right now. I cannot believe whatever has happened. I spoke to her. She is not fine. My son Shehbaaz has left for Mumbai to be with her and I will be going later.”
Siddharth Shukla’s team has stated “All of you have heard the shocking news, we are as much in shock as you all are. We have a request 🙏 We really want all of you to respect and stand with us during these tough times 🙏 As Sidharth’s PR team we humbly request the media to draw a line and give his family and loved ones space and let them grieve.
