The International Day of Yoga focuses to raise awareness and benefits of practising Yoga. On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi signified that Yoga becomes a source of inner strength for people and a positive way to transform negativity into creativity during the coronavirus pandemic. 

Here are some easy to do Yoga poses that you can try at home – 

  1. Bhujangaasana – also known as cobra pose, is a reclining back bending asana. 
  2. Trikonasana – A standing triangle pose that helps to expand the chest and shoulders.
  3. Tadasana – A basic standing asana. 
  4. Padmasana – A cross-legged yoga posture.
